This new volume on STEAM education brings together 37 scholars from more than 20 universities and institutions across approximately 9 countries to examine pressing educational, technological, linguistic, and social issues shaping STEM and STEAM learning in diverse global contexts. Spanning regions including Mexico, Nigeria, Ghana, Timor-Leste, Indonesia, Bhutan, Pakistan, and the United States, the collection highlights innovative pedagogies, equity-centered practices, AI-enhanced instruction, multilingual learning, environmental literacy, teacher experiences, and workforce development. Through interdisciplinary perspectives and culturally grounded research, the volume amplifies voices from the Global South while advancing important conversations on educational transformation, inclusion, creativity, and sustainable development in STEM and STEAM education.
