Volume 5, Issue 1 of the Journal of Innovation in Academia (JINA) brings together 23 scholars from 13 universities and academic institutions across four countries—Nepal, Cambodia, Italy, and India—to address contemporary challenges and emerging opportunities in higher education, management, finance, sustainability, entrepreneurship, organizational behavior, language education, and literary studies. The issue showcases a diverse collection of 10 original research articles that explore timely topics including artificial intelligence adoption in higher education, student expectations and learning experiences, sustainable consumption behavior, behavioral finance and investment decision-making, entrepreneurial intentions, workplace spirituality and ethical climate, decolonial perspectives in English language education, retail stock market investment behavior, postcolonial literary resistance, and gender representation in literary discourse. By integrating perspectives from education, business, social sciences, humanities, and sustainability studies, the issue demonstrates the journal’s growing global footprint while fostering rigorous, collaborative, inclusive, contextually grounded, and globally relevant research that advances academic innovation and interdisciplinary knowledge creation.
