Editorial Independence
The Journal of Innovation in Academia (JINA) is committed to maintaining full editorial independence and ensuring that all editorial decisions are made objectively and solely based on scholarly merit.
The Executive Editor and Editorial Team have full authority and responsibility for decisions concerning:
- Manuscript acceptance, revision, or rejection
- Editorial content and publication scheduling
- The selection and management of peer reviewers
Editorial decisions are based on:
- Academic quality, originality, and significance
- Methodological rigor and research integrity
- Relevance to the journal’s aims and scope
Editorial decisions are not influenced by:
- Article processing charges (APCs) or other financial considerations
- Sponsorships, grants, or sources of research funding
- Authors’ institutional affiliations, academic status, or professional standing
- Commercial, institutional, or other external pressures
The publisher does not interfere with editorial decision-making. The journal maintains a fair, impartial, confidential, and rigorous peer-review process for all submissions, in accordance with its editorial policies and publication-ethics standards.
Editors, reviewers, and authors are required to disclose any actual, potential, or perceived conflicts of interest. Such conflicts are assessed and managed appropriately to safeguard the fairness, transparency, and integrity of the editorial and publication process.
