This volume of the Journal of International Students features a range of insightful research articles that explore the diverse experiences and challenges faced by international students across the globe. Topics include loneliness and social engagement among international students in the United States and Japan, the experiences of psychology applicants from the Global South, and cross-cultural studies on student well-being. Articles also delve into the psychological and sociocultural adaptation of international students, the cultural hybridization of football players in China, and the impact of online learning on the emotional well-being of international undergraduates in China. With contributions from 29 authors, representing 9 countries and 22 institutions/universities, this volume provides valuable insights into the multifaceted experiences of international students, offering evidence-based solutions for improving their academic, emotional, and social well-being in diverse educational settings.
