Vol. 16, No. 3 (2026) of the Journal of International Students offers a rigorous and timely collection of scholarship that deepens global understanding of international student mobility, learning, and well-being across diverse geopolitical, cultural, and institutional contexts. This issue brings together empirical studies and systematic reviews examining migration and access, academic integration, psychological well-being, stress and burnout, self-esteem, family background and cultural capital, gendered experiences in STEM, intercultural competence, and belonging. Drawing on research from Palestine, China, Japan, Pakistan, Southeast Asia, Europe, and the United States, the volume foregrounds resilience, social support, and equity while critically engaging with structural constraints shaping international students’ educational journeys.
