Call for Papers: STEM & Internationalization
Scope and Topics
We welcome contributions that address, but are not limited to, the following themes:
- Global STEM Education Practices: Comparative studies on STEM curricula, pedagogical strategies, and educational policies across different countries.
- International Mobility in STEM Fields: Trends, challenges, and opportunities in student and faculty mobility, exchange programs, and dual-degree partnerships.
- STEM Workforce and Global Competitiveness: The role of internationalization in preparing students for a globally interconnected STEM workforce.
- Technology and Internationalization in STEM: How digital tools, virtual labs, AI, and online learning platforms support international STEM education.
- Policy and Governance in International STEM Education: The role of government and institutional policies in fostering international collaboration in STEM education and research.
- Internationalization of STEM Curriculum & Internationalization of STEM Graduate Education
- Global Health and STEM Internationalization: The role of international STEM research in addressing global health crises and pandemics.
- International STEM Internships and Industry Partnerships: How multinational corporations and international organizations shape global STEM careers.
- AI and Automation in Global STEM Jobs: The impact of emerging technologies on STEM employment worldwide.
- STEM and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): The role of international STEM education and research in achieving global sustainability goals.
- Women in STEM and Internationalization Efforts: Policies and programs promoting gender diversity in STEM fields worldwide.
- Cybersecurity and International Collaboration in STEM: The role of global partnerships in securing digital infrastructures and data in STEM research.
We welcome two types of submissions:
- Short Essays/Narratives (1,500 words or less) – Perspectives, reflections, and experiences related to internationalization in STEM disciplines.
- Empirical Articles (2,000–5,500 words, including references and tables) – Original research, case studies, and data-driven analyses.
- Authors must create an account on the journal website and use the provided journal template for submissions.
- Manuscripts should be submitted to the section "STEM & Internationalization."
