Research in Brief

"Research in Brief" is designed for concise analyses on specific topics or questions, using new or existing data sources. Articles should include a brief introduction, a discussion of the data, up to two figures/tables, a maximum of 10 references, and be within 2,000 words. 

    • Start with a brief introduction outlining the issue or question your research addresses.
    • Present a concise discussion of the data you've used.
    • Include up to two figures or tables to support your analysis.
    • Limit your references to a maximum of 10.
    • The total word count for the text should not exceed 2,000 words.
    • Titles should be kept under 10-15 words.
    • Include an abstract of 120 words or less.
    • Manuscripts in the "Research in Brief" category undergo peer review in the standard manner.
