Journal of International Students, Volume 16, Issue 18 (2026) features 15 research articles by 45 authors from 33 institutions representing 9 countries that examine the rapidly changing international education. The issue explores international students’ experiences of belonging, identity, academic adjustment, employment, social support, post-graduation mobility, and institutional engagement across diverse national and educational contexts. Several articles also address the growing influence of artificial intelligence, including ChatGPT-assisted teaching, AI-supported learning, and AI-based forecasting of global student mobility. Other contributions examine social media and transnational family connections, e-sports and intercultural belonging, bicultural identity development, international student employment rights, classroom and writing experiences, and institutional strategies for internationalization.
