This volume of the Journal of International Students (Vol. 14, No. 2) critically examines the evolving relationship between Global South and Global North knowledge systems in the post-COVID-19 higher education landscape. Exploring themes of hegemony, equity, and authentic reciprocity, the contributors address pressing issues such as curriculum decolonization and internationalization in South Africa, epistemological frameworks for situated knowledge in Guinea, and the leadership of Global South student affairs in advancing Sustainable Development Goals. Other articles highlight the mental health impacts of global knowledge-power asymmetries in sub-Saharan Africa and reframe North-South collaborations through innovative principles.
