We are excited to announce that the Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies in Education (JISE) will expand to a quarterly publication schedule beginning in 2025. This transition supports our commitment to timely, high-quality interdisciplinary research and provides a broader platform to address critical issues in education.

Special Issue Editors will have the opportunity to shape issues around themes that include (but are not limited to):

  • Artificial Intelligence and Pedagogical Innovation
  • Sustainable and Environmental Education
  • Neurodiversity and Inclusive Learning Models
  • Educational Responses to Global Health Challenges
  • Civic Engagement and Democratic Education
  • Digital Ethics in the Learning Environment
  • Cultural and Linguistic Dynamics in Education
  • Gender Studies and Educational Equity
  • Mental Health in Educational Settings

In preparation, we invite applications for Special Issue Editors to lead themed issues in 2025 and 2026. We welcome proposals that introduce fresh perspectives and explore innovative themes in alignment with JISE’s mission to bridge disciplines and advance educational research. Special Issue Editors will oversee a rigorous double-blind review process, curate unique topics, and engage with an international scholarly community.
