Aim & Scope
JTERIP seeks to amplify research that drives educational transformation through a social justice lens. We welcome interdisciplinary scholarship that bridges theory and practice and that offers critical insights for researchers, educators, practitioners, and policymakers. The journal invites submissions that:
1) Address the complexity of equity in education across P–20 systems (early childhood through tertiary education)
2) Focus on underrepresented student populations and global/international education contexts
3) Apply critical, theoretical, or conceptual frameworks to interrogate existing educational paradigms
4) Highlight innovative teaching, leadership, or policy practices that aim to close opportunity gaps
5) Examine the intersectionality of race, gender, class, (dis)ability, language, and identity in educational settings
6) Our audience includes scholars, school and higher education leaders, social scientists, and practitioners dedicated to transformative education in diverse learning environments.
