Abstract

Psoriatic arthritis develops in 25–30% of psoriasis patients. Diagnostic delays of one to five or more years are common, during which irreversible joint damage may accumulate. Despite validated screening tools and effective therapies, PsA remains substantially underdiagnosed in dermatology settings.
